| Description: | Full-time grade 4/5/6 teachers are needed at the newly established Modern American School (MAS)–Erbil in Kurdistan/Iraq for the 2008-2009 school year. Qualified candidates must have the following:
1. Valid educator license with an Elementary Education endorsement.
2. A proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner.

JOB GOALS
To create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils, to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation for upper elementary grade education in accordance with each pupil's ability, and to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
REQUIREMENTS
· At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
