Principal Examiners and Principal Moderators – GCSE 2009 Citizenship

GCSEs are being redeveloped and reaccredited, as part of the wider 14-19 education reform programme.  Edexcel is looking for outstanding individuals to develop our new specifications and lead a team or examiners and/or moderators, for our new specification in Citizenship.

As a Principal Examiner, you will be responsible for:

• setting question papers and mark schemes according to the requirements of the new specification, and leading meetings to ensure that examiners are fully briefed to mark the examination papers

As a Principal Moderator, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring internally assessed units meet the required standard and are consistent with the unit specification and assessment criteria, and leading meetings to ensure that moderators are fully briefed to mark coursework tasks.
