| Description: | Primary Teacher - This very small prep school in Surrey offers a home from home setting and high quality education for families looking for a real alternative to today's state primary environment. The school offers English, Maths, Science, Art and Philosophy as core subjects, and also offers Geography and History in a cross-curricular approach. However, the subjects at the school are likely to expand as they grow and more students are enrolled. An open, supportive and creative approach to teaching is respected, as classes are age-combined and students learn at very different levels. Some of the children go on to attend very high achieving independent secondary schools. The school is looking to appoint a part-time (Monday to Thursday 9am - 3pm) class teacher from September. The role is likely to start on a temporary basis, but has the potential to quickly progress to a permanent appointment for the right candidate. As the school is very small, renumeration is not initially high, but the hours are greatly reduced in comparison to what is required at other independent primary schools and maintained environments.
