| Description: | Principal- new Canadian International School (Saudi Arabia) - This new Canadian International School will be the first bilingual school in Saudi Arabia to be endorsed by Dr. Tareq Alsuwaidan and managed by Canadian staff. Their curriculum is ranked amongst the most advanced in the world, while emphasizing mastery of Arabic and the application of Islam to all aspects of life. The curriculum is designed according to international standards emphasizing inquiry, stimulating curiosity, and fostering comprehension and creativity rather than memorization. Beginning in September 2008, the schools will open its doors to 264 Kindergarten children & Grade 1 female students in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and will offer students and the community excellent facilities for active learning, physical education, and advanced technology. This is a girls school and as such only female principals may be considered at this stage. Preference will be put on Canadian applicants with experience of the Canadian curriculum. The salary will be $6000 USD per month tax free, inclusing flights, free and furnished accommodation and additional benefits. A full job spec will be provided upon application.
