Thamesview is at an exciting time in its development: last summer we produced the best GCSE results which have increased year on year for the last six years, our new £1.2 million Vocational Centre opened in 2006, and together with our college and business partners, is the outstanding vocational hub for other Gravesham Schools and we are in the first wave of the “Building Schools for the Future” programme in Kent.

Thamesview School are looking to appoint an aspirational and motivated Mathematics Teacher to join us in September 2008.
 
We are looking for an exceptional and innovative teacher of Mathematics to join this established faculty. The department is committed to active teaching and learning for all students and value creative and innovative ways of developing Mathematics. The faculty is made up of HOF, second in faculty, plus four qualified teachers and a dedicated Support Assistant who provides teaching learning and administration support. All students follow the National Curriculum, coverage of which is accomplished using Key Maths. All students are assessed nationally at Key Stage 3. "Fast track" groups in Key Stage 4 are entered for GCSE in Year 10.
