Thamesview School is an 11-16 non-selective Foundation High School.

Thamesview is at an exciting time in its development: last summer we produced the best GCSE results which have increased year on year for the last six years, our new £1.2 million Vocational Centre opened in 2006, and together with our college and business partners, is the outstanding vocational hub for other Gravesham Schools and we are in the first wave of the “Building Schools for the Future” programme in Kent.

 

Thamesview School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and imaginative Teacher of Technology to join us in September 2008.
 
We are looking for an exceptional and innovative Teacher of Technology to join this experienced department, leading on preparations for 'Building Schools for the Future' Programme and Enquiry Based Learning. It is an exciting time to be joining this Faculty, with the introduction of I-net facility and £1million investment in ICT. The faculty are committed to active teaching and learning for all students and value creative and innovative ways of developing Technology within school. This post would be suited to a candidate who can offer Food Technology or Design as a specialism.

You must have Qualified Teaching Status in the UK, or equivalent Overseas Qualification with UK teaching experience.
